SCIENTIST LETTER CALLS FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION BY MARIN COUNTY SUPERVISORS IN SUPPORT OF COHO SALMON HABITAT

158 scientists, including the State's leading aquatic conservation professors from UC Davis and the California Academy of Sciences, as well as a dozen organizations including the Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen's Associations, have signed on to a letter calling on the County to take action before it is too late.

The letter is in response to the County Board of Supervisors Continued Delay of Enacting Streamside Habitat Protections Despite THE Coho Crisis & 3 Years of Community "Planning"

Coho salmon and their habitats are in urgent need of protection and all efforts need to be focused to recover populations from the brink of extinction.
